Functional Safety Expert

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the construction of the technical architecture of the company's functional safety product family, technical roadmap planning, technical trend analysis, technical problem solving, and building the technological leadership of functional safety products.
• Organize research and application analysis of functional safety standards, research on key functional safety technologies and prototype development, and plan and organize technical cooperation with resources outside the company. Establish a long-term communication and mutual trust mechanism with European certification bodies (such as TÜV Rheinland, TÜV SÜD, etc.).
• Track the evolution of international leading technology, ensure the state of the art of functional safety technology, and provide opinions on the company's research and development of functional safety technology.
• As the technical expert, support the development of the company’s safety products such as safety PLCs, safety drives, safety sensors, safety buses, etc., establish the company’s design standards, R&D and testing systems for functional safety products, and improve the product lifecycle management process.

Job Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience in functional safety development/audit of industrial control products.
• In-depth understanding of the development of functional safety trends and safety system solutions, familiarity with the actual application of safety products in mechanical safety protection, and ability to propose competitive functional safety product solutions.
• Familiar with IEC 61508/ISO 13849 development practices for safety-related controllers and drives in industrial automation, knowledge of ASIC/SoC safety integration techniques, non-safety and safety hardware/software isolation methods, and code redundancy detection technologies. Relevant development experience is preferred.
