Position

Softwaretester Bahntechnik (m/w/d) (Ref. Nr. ) in Voll- oder Teilzeit at our site in Ditzingen.

Responsibilities

As a Softwaretester Bahntechnik (m/w/d) , you are responsible for testing our digital and electronic Stellwerke (interlocking systems). You support customer on-site commissioning and act as the technical contact for internal stakeholders and customers.
Install and verify the functionality of the Stellwerke according to customer specifications and ensure alignment of planning and execution.
Create, summarize and continuously develop test documents and establish new test guidelines.
Coordinate and clarify details between customers, sales, development and project management, providing advisory support.
Participate in on-site customer tests and serve as the primary technical contact during the test phase.
Handover tested systems to the project management and arrange any required post-processing or adjustments.
Contribute to proposal preparations and coordinate with other departments.

Qualifications

Completed technical studies with a focus on electrical engineering or information technology, or a comparable qualification.
Familiar with railway environments around signaling technology and knowledge of regulations in railway operations and signaling services.
Team player who communicates well with customers and makes solutions-oriented decisions.
Willingness to take responsibility, including on-site commissioning sometimes on weekends or night-time closures, and willingness to travel within Germany.
Fluent in German (written and spoken) and good English proficiency.
