Business Segment and Role Overview

Equities & FICC: We make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis. The Equity Derivatives Sales Group in Frankfurt is looking for an Analyst/Associate to join the German team with a particular focus on German/Austrian clients. The group works with a variety of institutional clients (e.g. asset managers, banks, insurance, wealth managers) to distribute Global Markets Division products. These products include listed and OTC derivatives, plain vanilla and complex, as well as tailored derivative solutions that enable clients to achieve their investment goals. Salespeople are responsible for selling Global Markets Division products, pricing and executing innovative derivative transactions and developing trade ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Pricing and executing plain vanilla and complex, listed and OTC derivative products in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment under high pressure with precision and attention to detail.
  • Overseeing and navigating all post‑trade processes to make the trade a seamless experience for the client.
  • Working closely with trading, structuring and back‑office teams on existing and new trades of the client base.
  • Supporting senior sales staff in building relationships with institutional clients and providing investment advice on global equities, macro, and strategy research.
  • Liaising with equity research analysts, hosting corporates, and participating in marketing and roadshow events.
  • Liaising with our research team to provide high‑calibre information to our clients and address specific client requests.
  • Involved in database management and client administration.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

  • Native German speaker with excellent English skills – excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Willingness to relocate to Frankfurt.
  • 1‑5 years of experience in financial services.
  • Strong interest in global financial markets & derivative instruments.
  • Quantitative, with client‑service orientation and strong attention to detail.
  • Resourcefulness and creativity in addressing new commercial opportunities.
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets and preparing presentation material/pitch books.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity.
