General Manager IT Governance, Finance and Portfolio Management (f/m/d)

YOU ACT

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of IT strategies for IT budgeting/finance, IT contract, and portfolio management. Key focuses include analyzing and optimizing IT cost structures and investment plans, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and legal regulations, and managing and monitoring the IT portfolio to ensure efficient budget and resource utilization. Additional responsibilities include:

Leading a global team of specialists in IT budgeting/finance, IT contract, and portfolio management
Responsibility for IT budgeting, cost control, and reporting
Supporting financial planning in close collaboration with the finance department
Managing and monitoring IT contracts, including negotiating with external providers and partners, as well as license management in close collaboration with the legal department
Developing efficient sourcing strategies for all global IT topics
Prioritizing projects and initiatives in operational operations
Monitoring project outcomes in terms of time, cost, and quality
Building and maintaining interfaces between the IT department, purchasing department, finance department, and other business areas

YOU KNOW

You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification. Additionally, we value:

Several years of experience in IT financial management, contract management, or IT portfolio management
In-depth knowledge of budget planning, cost control, and license management
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
Confident demeanor in negotiations with global providers
Fluent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
Enjoyment of occasional business trips to our locations domestically and abroad
