We are looking to strengthen our L1 Mission Operations Team delivering services to our customer based in Oberpfaffenhofen and in Weilheim near Munich with a talented and ambitious team member. What You Will Focus On
The position requires training and certification in Spacecraft Operations. The tasks are delivered in 24×7 shift pattern with possible on-call requirements.
You will certify in the area of Flight Operations in the Geostationary Mission Operations Team.
The core duties will be as below (but not limited to):

Certification as a spacecraft Controller
Supervision of system performance and of automatic service provision to customers
Maintenance of actual mission planning data and the mission schedule
Monitoring of the health status of all satellites components
Monitoring the use of the satellite payload
Level-l response to anomalies, based on procedures
Data collection after anomalies
Activation of engineering support if required

A cross certification in another project may be requested depending upon the discretion of the project manager.
What You Bring

Technical experience in Aerospace, Tele-communication or IT related stream (preferably, with an engineering degree but is not a must due to extensive onsite training)
Proficient user of computer systems
Proficient in MS Office suite and preferably with know-how of LINUX
Fluency in English is a must

Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members

Desirable

Experienced in handling tasks guided by predefined procedures and processes
System status monitoring and troubleshooting
