About the opportunity

Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. We are looking for talented writers fluent in German to train generative artificial intelligence models.

Responsibilities

• Rank a series of AI-generated responses for a given German text
• Write a short story in German on a given topic
• Assess whether a German text produced by an AI model is factually accurate

Qualifications

• Experience as a professional translator
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or writing-related field
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing

Payment

• Core project work by German writing experts averages USD $29 per hour
• Rates based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. Non-core work such as onboarding or overtime phases may apply lower rates. projects offer incentive payments. Please review the payment terms for each project.
