Global Application Manager (mfd) Advanced Electrolytic Plating (AEP)

We are looking for a highly motivated and results‑driven Global Application Manager (m / f / d) for the business unit Advanced Electrolytic Plating (AEP). In this role you will lead a global applications team and drive technical innovation across global markets ensuring successful product qualifications and rollouts. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, solve complex process challenges and shape strategies that secure sustainable business growth.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Vertical Applications team to deliver on business unit goals and objectives.
• Provide technical leadership in R&D projects driving product qualification and global technical rollouts to customers.
• Act as a key counterpart to global sales organizations—especially Product Marketing—fostering technical knowledge exchange and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process‑related issues within your area of responsibility working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with different departments including Equipment and OEM teams to align strategies and ensure sustainable business success.
• Own and maintain process documentation including datasheets, technical sales presentations, specifications, troubleshooting guides and process manuals.

What do you bring to the table

• A master’s degree in chemical engineering and relevant professional experience driving innovation in the electronics industry.
• Deep expertise in electroplating ideally within PCB applications and a passion for advancing cutting‑edge technologies.
• Proven leadership excellence—you know how to inspire teams, communicate effectively across cultures and foster collaboration that delivers results.
• A data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex information, make confident decisions and adapt with resilience in fast‑changing environments.
• Flexibility and global perspective including a readiness for frequent international travel to connect with customers and partners worldwide.
• 15‑30% travel activities.
