Global Category Analyst and Purchaser Fuels

Supports the Clobal Category Leader for Fuels in sourcing different fuel types including market studies and management (risk) reporting

For our Group Procurement team, we are looking for a Global Category Analyst and Purchaser Fuels (f/m/d)

This position is located in Heidelberg , Germany and will report to the Head of Group Energy Procurement.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

• Support tenders/negotiation of fuel supply contracts globally in international teams

• Provide and present market analysis for various fuel types and different countries for conventional fuels but also including alternative fuels and biomass

• Analyse potential quality and/or fuel switches to save cost and/or reduce our CO2 footprint

• Collect data from many sources and compile comprehensive cost and risk reporting for the countries, top management and investor relations for all energy commodities

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in business administration, information technology or engineering; it would be a plus to have experience in deregulated energy markets

• Ability to achieve acceptance by communicating professionally with partners, suppliers, country managers and colleagues in different areas and in different levels of hierarchy

• Self-motivated and service-oriented working style

• Result-oriented, especially regarding the implementation of new processes and organizational changes

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills

• Good IT skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and/or other programming environments)

• Good oral and written skills in English

• Intercultural understanding and the ability to work in an international team
