General Purpose of the Job:

Overall commercial leadership of the Professional category. Develops and implements global commercial category strategy in line with global brand direction and represents the category externally and internally.

Main Responsibilites:

Adopt global LOWA brand and business strategy to the Professional category and develop global category strategy and plans which drive category sales, market share, distribution and profitability.
Identify globally relevant Key Business Drivers (KBDs), design plans and KPIs to target and track commercial success.
Follow, manage and optimize category tender process.
Translate product requirements from tender process into detailed and technical product briefs for global product teams.
Ensure product specifications comply with product requirements of institutions and government bodies.
Own the category business relationship with major institutions, associations and government bodies.
Identify and on-board new wholesale accounts specialized in the Professional category.
Represent the category at relevant fairs and events.
Collaborate with marketing team on effective category marketing strategies, communication channels and investments choices.

Strong communication and negotiation skills
Motivated self-starter with high energy level
Strong in process and deadline management
Fluent in English and German, third language a plus

Education:

Bachelor, or Masters, degree in relevant field

Needed Work Experience:

3-5 years of work experience in the field of sales to professional entities with involvement in tender processes
Has worked with, and brings a network to decision makers at, professional and government institutions
Has worked in the Footwear industry and possesses technical understanding of footwear development process
