Job Title: Global Head of Digital Certification

Reports to: Global Certification & Assessment Delivery Director

Location: Home-based in the UK or elsewhere in Europe

Travel: The role will involve some national and international travel.

Digital Trust Product Certification (DTPC) is a crucial aspect of today’s digital landscape. BSI’s DTPC serves as a testament to an organization’s commitment to maintaining integrity, security and transparency in digital product development and operations, while demonstrating compliance with global digital trust regulations and directives.

The Purpose Of The Role

The purpose of this position is to lead and oversee the Global Digital Trust Product Certification portfolio of services, managing a team of Technical Certification Experts to deliver services globally.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

• Profit & loss responsibility for the Digital Domain, supporting the delivery of budgeted metrics
• Lead the global DTPC portfolio of products addressing connectable product market access, cybersecurity testing and certification services, and more
• Lead Product Certification Accreditations across our digital domain and a team of technical experts
• Provide Thought Leadership in DTPC, identifying key issues, challenges and sector interactions to influence policy, standards organisations and governments
• Support global salesforce in testing and certification sales activities where needed
• Provide technical and business support where needed

The Successful Applicant Will Have

• Expertise in DTPC regulations & directives
• Knowledge of processes and applications of Quality Management Standards
• Regulatory or professional services experience
• Excellent leadership skills including a motivational approach, ability to set clear direction, goals and priorities, highly developed communication and decision‑making skills, and ability to influence and lead change at a senior level
• Thorough knowledge of global cybersecurity regulations and relevant IoT standards such as ETSI EN 303 645, ETSI TS 103 701, EN 18031, IEC 62443, UL2900, eIDAS 2 and Digital Wallet
• Knowledge of Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU and delegated regulation (EU) 2022/30 is an added benefit
