About the Role

We are looking for a senior inventory management professional who can shape and govern complex global inventory structures across multiple production and supply‑chain environments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building end‑to‑end processes, setting global standards, and driving continuous improvement within a fast‑moving international organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, roll out, and enhance a comprehensive global framework for managing inventory across raw materials, components, work‑in‑progress (WIP), and finished products
  • Optimize the balance between customer service levels and the reduction of excess or obsolete stock
  • Ensure that all inventory processes are scalable , future‑oriented, and aligned with strategic business priorities
  • Define effective buffer‑ and safety‑stock concepts in close cooperation with cross‑functional teams
  • Work closely with digital transformation and operational excellence teams to upgrade systems, tools, and data capabilities
  • Create, maintain, and enforce global policies, standards, and documentation for inventory governance
  • Establish meaningful KPIs to monitor performance (e.g., stock turns, days of supply, E&O levels, working‑capital impact)
  • Evaluate inventory data and provide actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Safeguard compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and corporate governance
  • Drive improvement programs and foster alignment across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams

Your Profile

  • Significant experience in Supply Chain Operations and/or Inventory Management , ideally in a large, international, and multi‑site organization
  • Proven capability to handle large SKU portfolios (10,000+ SKUs is mandatory)
  • Solid background working with contract manufacturers (required)
  • Strong track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing inventory processes — not limited to warehouse operations
  • Experienced in navigating multi‑tier inventory structures and managing stock across several maturity levels
  • Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of working capital and financial implications of inventory decisions
  • Practical experience with ERP/WMS or planning systems (Oracle, SAP EWM, or similar)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across different functions and seniority levels
  • Nice‑to‑have: certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Advantageous: exposure to transformation initiatives or change management
  • Beneficial: familiarity with cost‑simulation or scenario‑modeling tools
  • Demonstrated leadership, decision‑making strength, and a proactive working style
  • Willingness to travel up to three times per year to Asia
