Key Responsibilities

IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) aims to manage risks that could seriously impact IT services. This ITIL process ensures that the IT service provider can always provide the minimum agreed Service Levels, by reducing the risks derived from disaster events to an acceptable level and planning for the recovery of IT services. ITSCM is designed to support Business Continuity Management.

Working as a member of the IT Service Management team within Allianz Partners CIO, you will support the IT RUN Manager Lead in monitoring IT Service Resilience processes. This includes planning, executing, and reporting on recovery events in alignment with Disaster Recovery (DR) testing schedules to ensure that IT services supporting our most critical business processes are resilient and fit for purpose.

You will also contribute to meeting DORA regulatory requirements by ensuring that DR testing scenarios are well‑defined, executed, and documented with appropriate evidence, in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Through this role, you will have the main following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development, quality review, and testing of Disaster Recovery (DR) plans to ensure core business technologies are resilient and recoverable.
  • Ensure timely delivery of application‑specific IT DR Plans for all in‑scope applications (~70), including those under AZT and OM scope.
  • Coordinate the planning, validation, and tracking of Minimum Yearly Test Plans (MYTP), ensuring test scope, scenarios, and evidence meet DORA requirements.
  • Oversee the development and submission of IT Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), ensuring alignment with IT service providers and BIA outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops with AZT, external vendors, and application owners to clarify deliverables, validate RTO/RPOs, and align on timelines, evidence formats, and risk mitigation options.
  • Ensure IT service providers can meet minimum agreed service levels in a disaster, reducing risk to acceptable levels and sustaining recovery capability.
  • Use data analytics and automation to improve DR reporting, KPI tracking, and ITSCM process efficiency.
  • Regularly report Disaster Recovery activities to senior management.
  • Continually review and improve existing DR processes to ensure they meet business and regulatory requirements.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of experience in IT or Operational Resilience fields (BCM, Crisis Management, or ITSCM).
  • Experience in strategic ITSCM planning and execution.
  • Experience in recognition of ITSCM trends, benefits, and implementation of business opportunities.
  • Project Management experience.
  • At a minimum possess a Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics (or other analytical related) degree.
  • Solid experience (5+ years) in IT or OM.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of ITSCM strategy, operations, management, leading engagements across business functions.
  • Profound monitoring of the ITSCM program including reporting to the BM responsible for IT.
  • IT Architecture knowhow (functional, application, information architecture).
  • Ability to estimate the business, financial and technical impact of Architecture alternatives.
  • Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Independently follow‑up with stakeholders to aid in solution development.
  • Basic knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, or automation tools (e.g., RPA, AIOps) to support DR reporting and IT service resilience monitoring.
  • Stakeholder management: ability to influence, guide and build relationships at a senior level within AZP.
