The Global Market Growth Analyst is responsible for the continuous analysis of market sizes, developments, target customers, competition, and market trends within the global hydro energy sector. The primary goal of this role is to identify potential growth areas for our service business in defined target countries and discover new customers, ensuring we differentiate ourselves from the competition while meeting customer demands.

Your tasks

Conduct continuous analysis of market sizes and developments within the hydro energy sector.
Study and report on the developments of target customers and their needs.
Perform detailed competition analysis to understand the market landscape and identify our unique selling propositions.
Analyze market trends to forecast future opportunities and challenges.
Identify and recommend potential growth areas for our service business in defined target countries.
Determine the competencies, supply options, products, and service portfolio required to ensure sustainable growth in these markets.
Support the tracking of sales activities in growth countries and areas, including customer touchpoints, power plant assessments, and outreach to new customers.
Assist in generating a robust sales pipeline and booking orders.
Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
In the near future, take the lead on specific growth initiatives aimed at developing targeted growth areas within the hydro energy sector.
Support the HyService Business Cases in market assessment related presentations, visualizations as well as data analysis.

Your profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in market analysis, strategic planning, and competitive analysis, preferably within the energy sector.
Strong understanding of the hydro energy industry and its market dynamics.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey analysis and strategies to stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
Proficiency in using market analysis tools and CRM software.
Strong project management skills and the ability to lead initiatives.

This position can be filled at any of our global Voith Hydro locations. The remote work policies will adhere to the regulations of the specific location where you are based.
