What you'll do

• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point, resolving complex incidents from 2nd‑line operations and Service Managers to minimise business impact

• Translate platform architecture and service strategies into robust technical configurations and deployments across global projects

• Build and operate automation and API integrations; use monitoring, AIOps and observability to anticipate and resolve performance issues

• Create and maintain low‑level designs, automation playbooks, SOPs and standardised configuration templates to drive consistency

• Modernise and harden Knauf’s global network estate—covering hardware refresh, configuration management, SD‑WAN rollout, and secure‑by‑design controls including NAC compliance

Who you are

• Degree in computer science/IT or equivalent experience in large‑scale enterprise environments

• Proven track record operating campus and enterprise networks at global scale (10,000+ users) across routing, switching, wireless and network security

• Hands‑on with SD‑WAN, ideally Fortinet (FortiManager/FortiGate), including migrations from legacy WAN to modern SD‑WAN

• Cisco CCNP or Fortinet NSE 4+ strongly preferred

• Experienced with centralised network management platforms, identity services and core network services; comfortable with API‑driven workflows to improve operational efficiency
