About the Role:

Our client, an established global materials and chemical manufacturing organization is seeking a Global Process Technology Leader (m/f/d) to provide visionary leadership for its worldwide process technology and analytical operations. This executive will oversee a diverse, high-performing global team of scientists and engineers, driving process innovation, analytical excellence, and sustainable manufacturing initiatives across multiple international sites.

You will set the strategic direction for process technology, lead major innovation programs, and ensure operational scalability and safety while optimizing global cost and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire global teams in process technology and analytical science across Europe, North America, and Asia.
Develop and implement global technology roadmaps aligned with corporate growth and product innovation.
Oversee scale-up, process design, and commercialization of new technologies and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in R&D, operations, and engineering to deliver transformative technical solutions.
Champion EHS, sustainability, and operational excellence through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Build a world-class organization that fosters innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Process Technology .
10-15 years of global experience in chemical manufacturing, process engineering, or analytical leadership .
Proven ability to lead cross-cultural, multi-site engineering and technical teams.
Strong record of process scale-up, optimization, and analytical integration .
Demonstrated success implementing EHS and sustainability best practices .
Fluency in English ; German language proficiency preferred.
