Your Mission
In this important role, you will play a transformative role in shaping the future of Trench Group's manufacturing operations. Your mission is to accompany our journey into advanced automation and Manufacturing 4.0, driving significant innovation and efficiency across our global network. Your strategic vision will position us at the cutting edge of technology, enhancing our sustainability and reinforcing our leadership in the energy transmission market. Your Tasks:

• Technology Strategies: You will define and implement technology strategies aligned with Manufacturing 4.0 principles across all production stages. Serve as the primary advisor for technology-related initiatives across Trench Group's nine manufacturing plants.
• Roadmaps: You will create and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for adopting emerging technologies in manufacturing. Automation Strategies: You will design and implement automation strategies incorporating robotics, AI, IoT, and data analytics.
• Automation development: Create customized automation solutions, involving robotics, vision systems, and other advanced technologies (e.g. machine learning, autonomous mobile robots)
• Digital Transformation: You will lead the digital transformation of manufacturing processes, focusing on smart factory concepts. Cross-Plant Collaboration: You will establish and lead cross-plant expert teams to guide activities and align processes with company-wide standards.
• Best Practices & Technologies: You will standardize best practices, technologies, and automation solutions across all locations.
• Investment Recommendations: You will provide investment recommendations for new equipment and automation solutions.
• Equipment Utilization: You will develop solutions for optimizing the utilization of existing equipment, focusing on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Manufacturing 4.0 integration.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of process technologies essential for producing bushings, coils, and instrument transformers, including winding, impregnation, foaming, extruding, turning, and milling technologies.
• Manufacturing 4.0 Experience: Proven track record in implementing Manufacturing 4.0 technologies, industrial automation systems, robotics, and IIoT platforms in industrial settings.
• Project Management Skills: Strong background in project management with excellent planning and organizational skills, resilience, and a customer-oriented approach.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Open communication style, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels, from the shop floor to plant management.
• Language Skills: Fluent language skills in German and English, additional languages are a plus
