Go developer (SRE team)

JetBrains SRE functions as an infrastructure platform on top of which other company products, including IDE Services, JetBrains AI, and Code With Me, are built. Additionally, our platform services are leveraged by internal company offerings, such as the Data Platform.

We are currently looking for an experienced Go Developer to join our team.

• Design and develop self-service infrastructure tools for use throughout the company.
• Build internal services for our data platform, such as ingestion services.
• Automate infrastructure tasks to strike a healthy balance between operations and development.
• Collaborate with internal product and infrastructure teams.
• Own features from concept to production, including mentoring others on how to use and maintain them.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Go.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and its components.
• Experience designing high-load systems.
• Ownership mindset from an idea through to production.
• Passion to build smart, reliable systems.
• Enthusiasm for mentoring and sharing expertise.

• Languages: Go (Kubernetes Go Client, chi, and Kubernetes CRI).
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes and containers.
• Authentication: OAuth2/OIDC.
• Storage: PostgreSQL, S3/GCS.
• Cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP.
