GOSP uses common technology platforms for the Group. As a joint venture partner Accenture provides expertise to support transformation, innovation and scaling. GOSP develops solutions for digitalisation and the introduction of a cloud‑centric model. GOSP includes IT infrastructure procurement and security operations among others.

Job Summary

Generali Operations Service Platform (GOSP) supports Generali Group in optimising its services to meet the changing needs of customers, agents and employees, enhancing service quality while delivering significant synergies among its business units. GOSP leverages cloud technologies and shared technology platforms to accelerate the Group’s transformation and digital strategy. As joint venture partner Accenture is providing expertise in cloud, artificial intelligence and big data to drive rapid transformation, innovation and change management at speed and scale. GOSP develops projects and solutions to accelerate the digitisation of Generali Group’s business processes and the adoption of a cloud‑centric model. The company incorporates the main functional areas of IT‑Infrastructure Procurement, Global Architecture, Security Operations & Group Head Office IT Services.

Senior Strategic Buyer RE&FM

Generali is seeking a Senior Strategic Buyer to lead sourcing initiatives within the Generali Group’s RE&FM domain. The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost optimisation and ensuring compliance with procurement policies while collaborating with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives in RE&FM within the Generali group
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals and compliance standards
  • Manage supplier relationships including negotiation, performance evaluation and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations, etc.) to ensure procurement alignment with project needs
  • Drive cost optimisation and value creation through market intelligence and benchmarking
  • Support contract management and ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures
  • Monitor procurement KPIs and prepare regular reporting for senior stakeholders

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in strategic procurement preferably in an international environment
  • Proven experience managing sourcing activities for real estate services, facility operations, maintenance and capital projects
  • Familiarity with vendor management in RE&FM categories such as cleaning, security, catering, HVAC and energy services
  • Languages: fluent in English (written and spoken); German, Czech or another European language is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in procurement platforms (e.g. SAP Ariba, Ivalua)
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier performance management
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and compliance frameworks
  • Understanding of RE&FM‑specific KPIs, SLAs and sustainability metrics
  • Experience with lease administration, property lifecycle cost analysis and FM service benchmarking
