  • €55,000 – €60,000 + Bonus, Company Car and Benefits Package
  • Based at company HQ in Munich

Are you a recent graduate in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field who wants to build a career outside of the lab? This is an excellent opportunity to join a global market leader in spectroscopy instrumentation and consumables as a Product Sales Specialist.

This role is designed for someone who understands the science but is looking for something different — a chance to use your knowledge in a customer-facing, commercial environment where you’ll be developing relationships, supporting customers, and helping shape sales strategy.

About the Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of spectroscopy instruments and consumables, with a strong global reputation and a network of distributors across Germany. Their products are trusted worldwide in biotechnology and bioanalysis, and you’ll be joining them at their Munich headquarters.

The Role

As a Graduate Product Sales Specialist, you’ll combine your scientific background with commercial training and development, learning how to bridge the gap between science and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting customer demonstrations and technical enquiries on instruments and consumables
  • Taking ownership of product sales strategy and performance across Germany
  • Managing and supporting the existing distributor network
  • Training distribution partners on products and attending customer meetings with them
  • Representing the company at national and international trade fairs and conferences
  • Gathering market insights and feedback to support product development and marketing

About You

This role is perfect for a science graduate who wants to start their career in sales rather than in the lab. You’ll be given training, support, and the opportunity to develop into a confident product specialist and trusted advisor for customers.

You’ll Need

  • A university degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Practical lab experience with molecular biology techniques (academic or internship experience is fine)
  • A people-focused personality with the ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Motivation, resilience, and a willingness to learn the commercial side of science
  • Confidence in communication – able to present, explain, and support customers
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Willingness to travel across Europe around 30% of the time
