As a participant on the Graduate Programme, you will undergo a comprehensive training curriculum that combines hands‑on experience with specialised trainings. You will work with different departments and projects, allowing you to develop an understanding of AllianzGI’s operations and strategic goals. Throughout the programme, you will work with experienced professionals and receive mentorship from trusted colleagues.

Team and responsibilities

The Distribution Operations Europe team manages several segments including Client Onboarding (KYC/AML), Fund Registration, Fund Prospectus Updates, Corporate Governance, Shareholder and Distribution Services, and Fund Operations. The team is at the forefront of operational transformation, with a focus on automation and AI‑driven process improvement.

You will:

Support client onboarding, compliance checks, and documentation review
Contribute to fund registration processes, including regulatory submissions and data dissemination
Help update fund prospectuses and coordinate with compliance, legal, and product teams
Contribute to corporate governance activities, including board meeting organisation and regulatory compliance
Oversee operational support for distributors and transfer agents
Collaborate on fund operations, ensuring compliance for portfolio transactions
Improve processes and automation projects, especially using AI technologies

Qualifications and skills

Academic excellence in engineering, computer science, business management, or related fields
Internships or exposure to operations, data/analytics, or technology‑driven environments
Comfortable with data, processes, and regulatory topics
Ability to analyse complex information and develop effective solutions
Technical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Open‑minded, mentally agile, and comfortable with change and challenging the status quo
Willingness to work in operations and commit to an operational career path
English language required; other local languages are advantageous

AI skills valued

Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) would be beneficial
Interest and knowledge in AI and technology‑driven process optimisation
Ability to leverage AI tools for process automation and improvement
Interest in driving technology adoption and challenging traditional workflows

Rotations

Rotations are an important element of the Graduate Programme. The business/function areas, location and duration will be agreed between you and your manager and may vary depending on our needs and individual development.

Possible rotations

Client onboarding, fund registration, fund setup, shareholder/distribution services, fund operations, and briefings with sales, compliance, and investments.
International: may include one of the following locations: Frankfurt, Paris, London, or Asia (e.g., Hong Kong)
