Continuous review of the qualitative and technical suitability of the current global raw material portfolio.
Initiates continuous improvement of raw material processes and tools.
Member of the SRMT committee.
Coordinates raw material management in close collaboration with Material Compliance, Quality Management, Product Development, and Portfolio Management, while promoting cross-functional communication with all global production sites.
Handles raw-material-related quality complaints within Klüber's complaint management system and defines the complaint-handling process for this area.
Initiates strategic projects for raw material portfolio optimization, particularly in close cooperation with suppliers and relevant Klüber departments.
Actively participates in strategic supplier management, including audit implementation.
Provides active support in cases of approved raw material shortages affecting products (contingency management).
Ensures compliance with relevant quality standards (ISO, IATF, VDA) within his/her area of responsibility.
Advises senior management on raw material–related topics.
Completed degree in Chemistry or chemical training with relevant professional experience in the chemical sector, or a comparable education in a natural science field.
At least 5 years of experience in the chemical industry, ideally in R&D.
Process-optimized and project-oriented working style.
Extensive experience in Quality Management (Ishikawa, FMEA, QFD, DOE, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 2, VDA 6.3) and auditor certification.
Analytical thinking and process-oriented approach.
Assertiveness.
Willingness to travel, including multi-day business trips.
Intercultural competence.
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
Experience working with international suppliers and internal interfaces.
Strong cooperation and consensus-building skills, collaborative leadership style.
High degree of personal responsibility and self-motivation.
