As Technical Field Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, removal, replacement, and maintenance of IT hardware and equipment for our clients in the greater Hanover area. For this project we are looking for a team of Harward Engineers – technicians with experience in infrastructure management: servers, storage, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Change Management
• Managing operations using ticketing tools
• Implementing change actions (installation, cabling, racking, etc.) in accordance with client procedures and best practices
• Participation in future hardware infrastructure expansions (adding hardware, etc.)
• Administrative Management
• Participation in ticket management in collaboration with IT teams
• Adherence to procedures and operating methods
• Relationship management/follow‑up with various stakeholders (clients/suppliers/partners)

Required Technical Skills

• Datacenter hardware knowledge
• Experience/handling of system infrastructures (servers/storage/network), air conditioning, power supply, and datacenter monitoring equipment

Required Qualities

• Readiness for duty and special services & for Ü2 security check.
• Professional English level oral and written
• Rigorous, organized, and able to prioritize
• Adherence to quality/security procedures
• Autonomous
