TheHardwareEngineer is responsiblefor supportingbothsustaining ofreleased products and development ofnew designsand products.

This positionreports to theManagerHardware Engineeringandis part of theEngineering TeamlocatedinAachen and willbeanon‑site role.

This position is initially offered on a one-year fixed-term contract (with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Work hands‑onproduct design, development, and verification tasks related tohardware, andmicroplate consumablesfor our cell health products.

Develop new consumables for our biotechnology market andoptimizeprocesses for production.

Collaborate cross-functionally with product management,scienceand manufacturing team.

Developconstructive solutions and creation of CAD drawings suitable formanufacturing.

Executefeasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

M.S./B.S.with backgroundinMedicalEngineering,Processengineeringor similar engineering field.

ProficientinCAD, preferably SolidWorksand Enovia including design and documentation.

Good knowledge Englishand German, both written and spoken.

Structured, independent work,high levelof practical judgment, reliability, organizational talent and enjoy working in a team.

It would be a plus if you alsopossesspreviousexperience in:

Experience with Microfluidics

Experience in bio-process engineeringor biotechnology

Experience with optical sensors
