My client is seeking an experienced Head of Accounting & Finance Processes to lead the transformation and modernisation of its finance operations across the DACH region. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership position responsible for SAP implementation, digital process optimisation, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end SAP implementation and integration across finance systems within the DACH region.Oversee monthly financial reporting in line with HGB, IFRS, and Swiss GAAP standards.Ensure regulatory compliance and robust internal controls across all entities.Drive digitalisation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and transparency in accounting and finance operations.Manage a team of 3 within a shared service centre, responsible for closing 3–5 entity books across multiple plants.Partner with cross-functional teams to standardise accounting processes and improve reporting accuracy and timeliness.Act as a key advisor to the CFO on system transformation, data integrity, and operational excellence. Required Skills And Qualifications8–10 years of experience in accounting, finance, and process improvement, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Proven hands-on SAP implementation and digital finance transformation experience.Deep knowledge of HGB, IFRS, and Swiss GAAP accounting standards.Experience managing multi-entity or multi-plant financial operations.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in German (native) and English (professional).Structured, analytical, and proactive with a drive for continuous improvement.
