In this role, you report directly to the Head of Finance and are responsible for supervising all aspects of finance and accounting operations globally as well as the strategy of the Solutions (SOL) organization. This position requires strong financial acumen of project businesses, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to drive the transformation, ensuring profitability, shaping the strategic direction, and ensuring operational success of the Grid Software Solutions Business worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Being a trusted partner to the SOL Head Bid Management as well as Projects.
- Leading a finance team of approx. 30 employees with global responsibility across various locations, acting as a role model for the financial community and promoting an ownership culture while prioritising diversity.
- Being responsible for Commercial Project Management and Commercial Bid Management.
- Together with peers, driving growth plans for our redefining business and efficient capital allocation.
- Driving value creation via collaboration of Siemens and non‑Siemens units, expanding skills to define the finance strategy.
- Alignment with business objectives in the transformation of business models—including capital allocation—to achieve strategic goals.
- Being accountable for the integrity of books and records, protecting assets and driving balanced value creation.
- Playing an active role in bids/tenders, collaborating with customers, partners, and financial institutions.
- Driving innovative IT solutions/processes based on the joint SI architecture/Sherpa X ecosystem.

Required Qualifications
- Education
University degree (Bachelor or Master) or an equivalent qualification. - Experience & Skills
Many years of leadership experience in business controlling and finance within a cross‑functional and international environment. - Lead your teams with empowerment, encouraging talent and leading by example.
- Set up early warning indicators and define measures in case of any deviations.
- High expertise in IFRS and Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (SFRGs); experience in solutions and/or software is a plus.
- Passion for customer‑centric and innovation management and deep interest in the Power Grid Siemens business and portfolio.
- Analytical thinking and the capability to structure sophisticated tasks and challenges.
- Resilience in a fast‑paced environment while challenging the status‑quo.
- Self‑reflective leader, living a feedback culture, with strong communication and presentation skills in English.
