Shape and maintain financial strategies that support the organisation’s mission
Lead core financial operations, including annual budgeting, ongoing forecasting, and financial reporting
Track budget performance and recommend cost‑optimisation measures
Deliver clear, accurate financial statements and analysis to senior leadership and stakeholders
Improve forecasting models and methods for better accuracy
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, EU/local regulations, and tax requirements
Support strong internal controls to manage risk, safeguard funds, and prevent mismanagement
Recruit, develop, and manage the finance team
Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Oversee financial systems and tools, streamlining processes for greater efficiency

Key Requirements

Master’s degree in finance, accounting, public administration, or similar preferred
Solid understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance
Strong skills in financial modelling, forecasting, analysis, and reporting
HGB / IFRS knowledge
Sharp analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
Confident communicator with proven leadership and team management experience
Professional fluency in German and English; additional languages a plus
High integrity and sound judgment when handling sensitive financial information
Strong focus on compliance, risk management, and internal controls
