Your team

Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG (the “Bank”) is seeking to strengthen its European and German Finance team at its European headquarters in Frankfurt am Main with a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (m/f/d).

The Bank operates across Europe, with branches in Luxembourg, Spain, Monaco, France, Italy and the UK.

Your role

Working within the Finance department of Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG in Germany, you will report to the Bank’s CFO. You will lead the three-person Financial Planning & Analysis team, which is responsible for providing senior management with insightful information and analysis on the Bank’s performance. You will also drive the Bank’s forecasting, planning and budgeting process, in coordination with the Group Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance the management information system (MIS) and optimise the reporting process to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Strengthen the Bank’s monthly performance analysis across business lines, identifying and monitoring profitability drivers, implementing activity-based costing and ensuring effective budget monitoring.
Improve financial forecasting capabilities and forward-looking analysis of the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and prudential ratios, including conducting sensitivity analyses, scenario planning and stress tests, particularly in support of regulatory requirements such as the ICAAP and ILAAP.
Enhance the annual strategic planning and budgeting process in coordination with the Group Finance team and various business lines.

Your profile

Hold a Master’s degree in Finance or Economics or a qualification deemed equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record.
Team player with strong analytical skills, capable of handling stress while maintaining a client‑focused attitude.
Exceptional communication, writing and presentation skills; able to engage and communicate effectively with senior management.
Proficiency in standard IT applications and expertise in one or more analytical tools.
Fluency in both German and English; knowledge of French considered an additional asset.
