The Head of Global Service Delivery & Governance, within our Operations Steering and Transformation function, reports directly to the Global Head of Operations Steering and Transformation. The role is an executive role, responsible for our Global Service Delivery (GSD) strategy, roadmap and execution and transversal operations enablement areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the strategy, design and implementation of a single governing framework which enables a ‘follow the sun’ model across all Operations locations, to support all Allianz Partners Lines of Businesses.
  • Ongoing review and alignment of all Global Service Delivery locations to ensure fit for purpose regarding client and customer delivery.
  • Review and redesign of Master Service Agreements to ensure clear legal and risk frameworks are in place.
  • Review of existing governance and introduction of clear roles and responsibilities for GSD Location leads, in collaboration with Lines of Business.
  • Ensure TOM Bluebook reflective of correct roles and responsibilities.
  • Direct responsibility for site‑leads in each GSD location, ensuring effective running of sites to support delivery of service to customers in collaboration with Lines of Business.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline and optimize how our global Operations business works effectively, including but not limited to Cost Centre oversight.
  • Oversight and monitoring of cost models and insights across all Global Service Delivery locations, ensuring achievement of target ratios. Utilize data analytics to gain insights into operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and lead a clear framework for oversight and execution on audit outcomes delivery, and ensure alignment with risk and compliance functions regarding Top Risks and focus areas regarding compliance.
  • Establish a high‑performance culture within the team to lead on innovation and excellence in support of our people focus globally.

Key Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in global operations management, specifically in Global Service Delivery, including strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to leverage insights for data‑driven decision‑making.
  • In‑depth knowledge of global service delivery models and frameworks.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and audit processes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive innovation and foster a high‑performance culture.
