About Caventura

Caventura is a fast-growing, sustainability-driven coffee company operating across specialty roasted coffee, green coffee sourcing, and wholesale partnerships .

Since our foundation, we’ve been growing at 100%+ year-over-year , and have now surpassed €1 million in annual revenue . We source more than 100 tons of coffee per year directly at origin , working closely with partners in Colombia, Honduras, Guatemala, Brazil, Uganda, and Costa Rica .

We run our operations from our office in Neukölln , and roast at the CC Communal Coffee facility in Neukölln, Berlin , one of the city’s most respected shared roasting spaces.

To support our next growth phase, we are hiring a Head of Operations, Production & Compliance — a true owner of the operational backbone of the company.

What You Will Own

• End-to-end production planning & execution (roasted coffee)
• Reliable order fulfilment (B2B & B2C)
• Quality control and consistency
• Leadership of the production & operations team
• Compliance with EUDR, Organic, Fairtrade, HACCP & packaging regulations
• Procurement of green coffee (contracted) and operational supplies
• ERP and inventory discipline (Xentral, Cropster, Confluence)

What You Will Do

• Decide what gets produced, when, and at what priority
• Ensure orders are delivered on time and in full
• Keep operations audit-ready at all times
• Build clean, repeatable operational processes
• Anticipate risks instead of reacting to emergencies
• Create clarity, focus, and sustainable workloads for the team

What You Will Support (Not Own Strategically)

• Sales tastings and cuppings (operational support)
• Events and fairs (execution support)
• Green coffee buying & logistics (non-contracted)

What You Will Not Do

• Own sales targets or revenue
• Own customer success or retention
• Work on brand, design, or website

What We’re Looking For

• Strong operational ownership mindset
• Background in operations, industrial engineering, production engineering, or supply chain
• Experience in food, beverage, specialty coffee, or green coffee trading is highly appreciated
• Comfortable with audits, compliance, and documentation
• Structured, calm, and decisive under pressure

Language requirements

• English: required
• German: strong bonus

Experience in specialty coffee operations or green coffee trading is a major plus.
