We are looking for a Head ofPortfolio Industry QC BPA BBIO Group (m / f / d) at our location in Ettlingen.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction for the organizations Quality Control (QC) portfolio ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market opportunities.
• Lead the development and lifecycle management of QC products services and digital solutions ensuring differentiation and long‑term competitiveness.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends customer requirements and growth opportunities across key QC segments.
• Collaborate with R&D Operations and Commercial teams to translate market insights into actionable product definitions innovation roadmaps and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Drive portfolio selling by leveraging the full suite of corporate products technologies and services to create integrated solutions that maximize customer value.
• Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation by promoting automation data‑driven decision‑making and advanced QC methodologies.
• Oversee governance and performance monitoring for the QC portfolio ensuring delivery of measurable business results and return on investment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality regulatory and safety standards while fostering a proactive culture of risk management and operational excellence.
• Manage budgets and resources across multiple projects and business lines balancing strategic priorities with operational efficiency.
• Cultivate strong customer and industry relationships to anticipate market shifts influence product direction
• Select develop and lead high‑performing teams building organizational capability and a culture of innovation and accountability.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need :

• Extensive industry experience (9 years) in Quality Control, Quality Assurance or Product / Portfolio Management within manufacturing industrial or technology-driven environments.
• Proven ability to develop and execute portfolio strategies that drive growth innovation and operational excellence across multiple business lines or sites.
• Very good knowledge of English (min. C1 Level) and German (min. B2 level)
• Strong technical foundation in quality systems testing methodologies and industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001 ISO / IEC 17025 Six Sigma or equivalent).
• Demonstrated leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills with success guiding diverse teams and influencing R&D Operations and Commercial functions.
