Head of Solutions Structuring (m/f/d)

Overview

You will be responsible for all commercial structuring topics around EaaS, our risk governance, and the technical execution of our programs, incl. pricing and underwriting. This role will also continuously provide valuable insights into the ‘as a services’ design and feature development.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the development, implementation, and governance of pricing strategies for the company's products and services, making use of quantitative and qualitative analysis tools. Manage pricing negotiations with vendors, partners, and internal customers.
• Lead the teams through the commercial, financial, and risk aspects of program lifecycles, from discovery to implementation, while developing strategies for analyzing profitability. Oversee risk and underwriting governance practices and ensure that business opportunities are commercially viable and meet return expectations.
• Develop and supply guidance to facilitate the promotion of as-a-service models to new partners. Provide daily support to sales teams and internal stakeholders, covering topics such as commercial and deal structures, pricing models, and pricing-influencing capital market trends.
• Steer the Equipment-as-a-Service (EaaS) risk function, maintaining an expert understanding of regulatory aspects for our products and markets, and crafting scalable commercial models for customer finance offerings. Balance customer needs with long-term strategic scalability while engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and present deal analysis economics for investment committee reviews, while reporting to senior management on the relationship between economic and risk metrics, including ROI, credit risk assumptions, usage risk assumptions, residual risk assumptions, and pricing methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 - 10 years experience in structured finance or leasing; master’s degree required.
• Knowledge of financial products, projects, and asset-based financing.
• Experience in financial modeling, equipment financing roles, and understanding of EaaS solution risks.
• Ability to develop business cases and communicate complex concepts.
• Customer-first mindset and a problem-solving focus.
• Ability to manage and influence stakeholders; aptitude for fast learning and team-playing in an agile environment.
• Systems-oriented with an understanding of commercial aspects of finance and business.
• Experience with large enterprises and corporations; adaptability to startups.
• Proficient in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in process setup, stakeholder management, and driving initiatives.
• Self-starter capable of handling ambiguity and frequent changes; tracks goal progress.
• Strong executive presence, with excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
