The Role

We're looking for a
hands-on Head of Tech & Data
to take ownership of all internal technology — with a major focus on data and data infrastructure. You'll lead a small but growing team while remaining close to the codebase.

This position sits at the heart of the company's next scaling phase and international expansion. You'll bridge the technical and business worlds — translating operational needs into scalable systems and guiding non-technical leadership through technical and architectural decisions. It's a mix of leadership, architecture, and hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers and data specialists.

Own all technical and data infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Define and execute the technology roadmap in alignment with company goals.

Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and deliverables.

Guide architectural decisions and oversee CI/CD, infrastructure, and data governance.

Hire and grow the technical team post-next funding round.

Introduce best practices in documentation, code quality, and analytics visibility.

Act as the bridge between C-level leadership and technical execution.

Requirements

Around
3–5 years of experience
, including first leadership exposure.

Strong technical foundation in
data-driven systems
or transactional environments.

Hands-on experience with
Python, SQL, and modern data warehousing (BigQuery, dbt)
.

Familiarity with
FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React/TypeScript, Terraform, Docker, and GCP
.

Comfortable operating in a
fast-moving, high-ambiguity startup environment
.

Balance of technical depth, ownership, and a collaborative mindset.
