• Being a visionary who helps shaping the digital journey in green transformation in research and development at Uhde and identifying new digital trends.
• Taking lead and responsibility for the implementation of game changing solutions and products for the Uhde portfolio by leveraging digital technologies with the goal of breaking existing paradigms, developing groundbreaking sustainable solutions, and unlocking new opportunities for growth and value creation.
• Accelerating product development using digital tools, resulting in shorter time to market of research and development efforts.
• Identifying patterns from large data sets to optimize the research and development process.
• Staying up to date with the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and sustainable technologies.
• Promoting the use of AI and data-driven methods to achieve a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Integrating modern digital technologies to achieve fundamental, systemic improvements in new product development and innovation marketing.

• A degree in Computer Sciences or a related field paired with at least 3 years of professional experience ideally in chemical engineering or a similar business.
• Proven experience in Artificial Intelligence, deep learning, and other relevant fields.
• Experience in working with corporate decision makers, contractors and internal & external stakeholders.
• Drive and ability to work under high pressure while still meeting the highest level of results.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional organization and coordination skills.
• Proficient in developing and motivating the team to foster high-performance outcomes.
• Fluent English language skills (level C1) and German language skills (level B2).
• Willingness to travel worldwide.
