Health and Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support and advise the Field Service team on health, safety, and accident prevention.
• Manage the Occupational Safety Management System per ISO 45001, conduct internal audits.
• Perform site inspections, analyse accidents, deliver safety training. Develop and review risk assessments.
• Manage EPLAS safety software, produce reports, monitor KPIs.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams.
• Act as process owner for the SGA (MAPS) process.

Requirements

• Technical qualification or equivalent; safety training (or willing to undertake).
• ISO 45001/19011 auditor certification (or willing to obtain).
• Experience in safety management, ideally in chemical or plastics industries.
• Fluent in German and English; proficient in MS Office.
• Good knowledge of German safety and fire regulations.
• Autonomous, organized, strong communication skills.
• Willing to travel up to 10%, mainly within Germany.
