HEALTH & SAFETY ADVISOR NORTH/WEST

to join the team in Ghent.

Looking for a role where your expertise truly matters? Join us and help strengthen the safety culture across our Belgian operations. Your mission: prevent accidents, improve our practices, and act as a trusted partner for both managers and teams.

Your impact:

• You develop and enhance our H&S Management System, together with H&S Business Partners and operational leaders.
• You investigate incidents using root cause analysis and turn insights into effective, long-lasting actions.
• You ensure equipment and site compliance by working closely with engineers, managers, and contractors.
• You serve as the key contact for local and national safety authorities when needed.
• You monitor H&S performance across your area and drive continuous improvement.
• You participate in H&S committees and contribute to internal and industry-wide initiatives.

Your playground:

The North West (from coast to Limburg) Belgian region, with occasional travel outside your area. 70% in Ghent.

What you bring:

• Certification: Prevention Advisor Level 1 or 2 (BE), HVK (NL), and RCA training.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an H&S advisory role, ideally in minerals extraction, cement, or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian regulations, ISO 45001, VCA, and management systems.
• Experience with audits, incident investigations, occupational health programmes, and stakeholder coordination.

• You are fluent in Dutch and English and you have notion of French
