HPE Networking – Commercial Account Manager (f/m/d) Service Providers

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

With the joint solutions of Aruba and Juniper, HPE Networking delivers a comprehensive portfolio of AI‑native solutions—designed to improve the operations and user experience and advance AI initiatives.

In This Role – Commercial Account Manager

  • Manage and develop major Service Providers to be a successful channel/user of HPE Networking solutions to their end customers in Germany.
  • Support the service creation of Service Providers using HPE Networking solutions.
  • Target customers: Telefonica, 1&1, EWE, M‑NET, VSE, Netcologne, Swisscom, A1.
  • Sell networking solutions and services to support customers to operate and orchestrate reliable services in hybrid and virtualized environments.
  • Build a broad network of industry relationships and contacts in the targeted accounts.
  • Capture sales opportunities to increase the company’s market share in accordance with HPE’s strategy and execute on sales forecast.
  • Set directions for business development and solution replication.
  • Create and grow reference customers.
  • Work with HPE account management, presales and delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with virtual teams to orchestrate and sell complex customer solutions.
  • Establish a professional and consultative working relationship with the client, including the C‑level, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs.
  • Deliver on assigned quota metrics and target to over‑achieve the set quota with quarter KPIs.

Qualifications

  • University or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the networking market and digital transformation journey.
  • Account experience in the communication providers’ segment.
  • Experience working with system integrators, solution consulting companies and network equipment providers.
  • Experience in the B2B environment (sales cycles, channels, campaigns) with service providers is a plus.
  • Partner engagement experience.
  • Cultural awareness, sensitivity and ability to work in multiple geographies.
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota diversity of business customer and higher‑level customer interface.
  • Consultative solution selling and business development skills.
  • Leadership and initiative in successfully driving sales—prospecting, negotiating and closing deals.
  • Project management skills.
  • Desired traits: passion to win; think out‑of‑the‑box, eager to learn, growth mindset, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Business proficiency in German and English.
