Job Summary

The HR Business Partner will be based in Stuttgart reporting to the HR Director / Regional HRBP and will partner with business segments to develop and deploy strategic planning objectives that build a dynamic organization delivering significant and sustainable growth.

Typical Day

  • Advise and coach business on talent‑management matters (HR requirements, workforce planning, staffing selection, executive coaching, performance management, retention, succession planning, change management etc.).
  • Partner with local HR teams and Centers of Expertise to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions; anticipate talent implications and impact to the organization.
  • Identify issues and opportunities in closing performance gaps and deploy effective tools and programs to achieve strategic vision and goals.
  • Support business segment in cascading goals to optimize alignment between business and human capital strategies.
  • Drive efficiency and positive organizational results through lean initiatives, alignment of systems, processes and structures.
  • Assist the business in making informed decisions with regard to people investment to achieve sustainable business results.
  • Develop and deliver cross‑cultural communications and change strategies.
  • May participate in activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Plan, implement and facilitate cyclical HR initiatives (workforce planning, performance management, rewards planning, training and succession planning).
  • Assist with HR communications and training of managers on new programs, systems and processes as required.
  • Manage and/or direct duties of others; set goals and drive initiatives.
  • Build strong internal customer relationships that foster a positive partnership with the business.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR‑related laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • 57 years of progressive HR experience ideally within a matrixed global organization.
  • Strong demonstrable knowledge of German Labour Law (must‑have).
  • Knowledge and experience with Collective Agreements; Metall Tarifvertrag is a strong nicet‑to‑have.
  • Strong business acumen with a proven track record of partnering effectively with senior leadership.
  • Deep understanding of HR practices, organizational development and change management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one HR functional area complemented by broad knowledge across the rest.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders across cultures, functions and geographies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong analytical consulting and project‑management capabilities.
  • Highly organized and process‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and with accountability.
  • Proven ability to drive meaningful organizational outcomes through thoughtful HR strategy and effective execution.
  • Solid understanding of the business segment and how HR contributes to long‑term organizational success.
