HR Generalist (Kempen, DE)

Responsibilities

• Represent the HR department and support all HR matters.
• First point of contact for employees and managers regarding administrative HR issues throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain employee master data, keep personnel files and manage working hours and absences.
• Create and edit employment-related documents such as contracts, amendments, certificates and attestations.
• Work closely with internal interfaces—especially with payroll or the works council—and ensure a smooth process.
• Organize entries and exits and support administrative processes during onboarding.
• Actively participate in HR projects, for example in the further development of internal processes.

Profile

• Completed commercial training with further education in human resources management or a degree with a focus on HR.
• Several years of professional experience in personnel administration, ideally in a medium-sized company environment.
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and apply it confidently in daily work.
• Proficient in using MS Office—especially Word and Excel—as part of daily routine.
• Work in a structured, independent and reliable manner with high quality standards.
• High degree of responsibility, discretion and empathy in dealing with sensitive personnel issues.
• Excellent German skills, both spoken and written; English skills are an advantage.
