Overview

Join to apply for the HSE Student role at Gates Corporation .

On-site at our Euskirchen location, you will gain valuable hands-on experience as an HSE-Student in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management . You will actively support our HSE team in daily operations and in projects, contributing directly to a safe and sustainable workplace. Working hours align with your availability, with flexible scheduling of up to 20h/week during lecture periods.

Responsibilities

Prepare, update, and maintain occupational health and safety documentation (e.g., risk assessments, operating instructions, hazardous substances register).
Contribute to the development of new HSE documents and guidelines.
Support the preparation and reporting of HSE key performance indicators.
Assist in the organization of trainings, briefings, and workshops on current HSE topics.
Actively participate in HSE projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

Enrolled student at a university or university of applied sciences in Safety Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable study program.
Strong interest in occupational health and safety and in developing HSE processes; initial practical experience in HSE or occupational safety is a plus.
Ability to work independently, reliably, and with attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and communication skills with organizational talent.
Motivation to learn and contribute to the further development of HSE topics.
Good English skills and fluent German.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
