With its world-class technology and state-of-the-art infrastructure, together with the vast cross-domain experience of its very knowledgeable staff, UNICC is always ready to offer UN-friendly shared solutions to the United Nations System of Organizations.Recruitment ProfileOrganizational Setting and Reporting:The intern will work 5 days per week (37.5 hours) under the supervision of a member of the Talent Unit (MSHT).Responsibilities:HR Operations SupportSupport the HR Operations team in drafting recruitment documents for staff, interns, and individual consultantsProvide general office support services: draft, edit, proofread, and finalize for signature/approval a variety of correspondence and other communicationAssist the operations team in performing a variety of administrative duties (teleworking requests, preparing Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) for Internships and Individual ConsultantsSupport the preparation of personnel actions (PAs) and contract documentation.Verify and process required onboarding documents (IDs, medical clearances, bank details, etc.).Coordinate induction sessions and ensure new staff are briefed on UN regulations, entitlements, and office procedures.Create and maintain personnel files and update staff recordsAssist with processing entitlements such as dependency claims, leave, health insurance enrolment, and education grantsConduct preliminary reviews of staff requests for accuracy and completeness.Respond to routine queries from staff on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.Assist in delivering high quality HR services to clientsHR Project ManagementContribute to various HR initiatives across the organizationCollaborate with the HR team on transversal projects and knowledge-sharing across duty stationsAct as a team intern, intervening on a variety of HR-related topics depending on organizational needsCompetencies:Overall attitude at work: Maintains integrity and takes a clear ethical approach and stance; demonstrates commitment to the Organization’s mandate and promotes the values of the Organization in daily work and behaviour; is accountable for work carried out in line with own role and responsibilities; is respectful towards, and trusted by, colleagues and counterparts.Communication: Expresses oneself clearly in conversation and interaction with others; actively listens.
