IFRS Controller

We are looking for a highly skilled IFRS Controller (m/w/d) to join our European finance team. In this role, you will manage financial reporting, consolidation, and controlling for multiple subsidiaries across Europe, ensuring compliance with IFRS and HGB standards. You will also drive process improvements, support ERP developments, and act as a key partner for international finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports according to IFRS and internal deadlines (fast close).
• Consolidate financial data from global subsidiaries and analyze performance trends.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS, and HGB standards.
• Manage and reconcile group-wide intercompany transactions and eliminations.
• Support internal controls implementation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting tools, processes, and controlling systems (SAP BW/SAC).
• Contribute to ERP system developments, particularly SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with international finance teams, providing guidance on reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or consolidation (Big 4 experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, ideally S/4HANA.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Independent, structured, and proactive working style.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment.
