The IGSTC Post Doctoral Industrial Fellowship (PDIF) from the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC) supports postdocs with an industrial fellowship.

What is funded

2500 EUR per month. This fellowship includes a single round-trip economy-class airfare, including visa fees and travel insurance of up to 1000 EUR. It also provides health insurance with a maximum limit of 100 EUR per month.

Duration

Up to 12 months

The applicant must be an Indian Citizen. Candidates within 2 years of completion of a PhD in Science/Engineering from Indian institutes/universities are eligible to apply. Applicants must be below 35 years of age. Skilled researchers not holding a permanent position or having a career break satisfying the above age and PhD criteria are also eligible.

The applicants need to submit consent letters from the host industry research organization in Germany and their mentor from India. Applicants who do not have an affiliation with an institution may submit 2 reference letters. The candidates are allowed to contact any industry/industrial research institution in Germany according to their area of interest.
