Immigration Paralegal — Atlas Immigration Law
Dallas, TX (Remote-Friendly) | Full-Time
About Us
Atlas Immigration Law is a growing immigration law firm based in Dallas, TX, practicing exclusively federal immigration law across all 50 states. We handle family-based petitions, naturalization, asylum, bond, deportation defense, waivers, and DACA. We opened in August 2025 and have built a technology-forward practice — we use custom case management software, automated document portals, and digital questionnaire systems so our team can focus on substantive case work instead of paperwork.
Our team is small and moves fast. You'll work directly with the lead attorney and have real ownership over your caseload from day one.
The Role
We need a paralegal to manage active immigration cases from contract signing through final adjudication. You'll be the primary point of contact for clients after they retain us — collecting documents, preparing forms, tracking deadlines, and keeping cases moving forward. This is a hands‑on role. You'll run cases, not sit behind a filing cabinet.
What You'll Do
- Manage a caseload of active immigration matters across multiple case types (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, N-400, I-589, I-751, I-90, I-601A, EOIR-42B, bond motions, and more)
- Collect and organize client documents through our online document submission portal
- Prepare immigration forms and petitions using our questionnaire system and PDF tools
- Track filing deadlines, hearing dates, biometrics appointments, and USCIS receipt notices
- Communicate directly with clients via phone, text, and email in English and Spanish — keeping them informed on case status and next steps
- Monitor immigration court dockets for detained clients (hearing dates, bond decisions, removal orders)
- Draft support letters, cover letters, and filing packages for attorney review
- Onboard new clients — setting up case files, sending questionnaires, and coordinating initial document collection
- Flag RFEs, denials, and case issues to the attorney immediately
- Maintain detailed case notes in Clio and our internal tools
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in immigration law (paralegal, legal assistant, or case manager at an immigration firm)
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required — most of our clients are Spanish-speaking)
- Familiarity with USCIS forms, EOIR procedures, and immigration court processes
- Comfortable with technology — we use Clio, cloud-based tools, and custom-built software daily. You don't need to be technical, but you should be the type of person who picks up new systems quickly.
- Organized enough to manage a high-volume caseload without missing deadlines
- Strong communication skills — you'll be client-facing from day one
- Able to work independently. We set clear expectations and trust you to meet them.
Bonus (Not Required)
- Experience with detained cases (bond motions, asylum, removal defense)
- Familiarity with Clio Manage
- Experience with e-filing or electronic case submission
- Understanding of inadmissibility grounds, waiver eligibility, or cancellation of removal requirements
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Remote-friendly — we operate virtually across all 50 states and don't require you to be in Dallas
- Small team, direct access to the attorney — you won't be buried in a department of 30
- Growth opportunity — the right person will grow into a senior case manager role as the firm scales
- A technology environment that handles the repetitive work so you can focus on the parts of the job that actually matter
How to Apply
Send your resume and a brief note about your immigration law experience. If you've worked on detained cases, asylum, or deportation defense, please mention it — those are our highest-volume case types.
