Responsibilities & Work Context

• Pastoral leadership and spiritual care of members in a rural environment.
• Leading worship services in the historic St. Marien‑ and St. Johannis‑Kirche.
• Active participation in home‑group, child‑group, Confirmation, youth, kindergartens, church choir, and community meals.
• Collaboration with the local diaconal social station.
• Co‑ordination with the church council, secretariat, custodian, cemetery administrator, municipal educator, and church musician.
• Engagement in regional cooperation with neighbouring churches to support ongoing change processes.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Pastor, Pastorate, or Pastorinnen in a civil or church service relationship with the Evangelisch‑Lutherischen Kirche in Norddeutschland (Nordkirche) or a recognised landeskirchenamt‑deemed applicant.
• Commitment to serve in a rural community.
• Experience or willingness to work with different age groups and ministries listed above.
