For Incident Response, the Coordinator is responsible for handling the organizational side of complex Incident Response cases and helping our customers navigate and recover from serious data breaches or cyber attacks. The focus in this role is on the overall coordination of high-stakes multi-party Incident Response cases, with activities ranging from the initial triaging of an incident, case infrastructure set-up, service scope management, internal and external stakeholder management, final report reviewing and all commercial-related aspects of incident management, both pre- and post-case. In Red Teaming, the coordinator assumes a similar role as the link between the customer, the TrendAI account team and the Red Team to scope, organize and execute successful Red and Purple Team engagements.

The Role

  • Plan, organize and execute the successful management of complex Incident Response cases and Red Team engagements.
  • Define, communicate and defend the scope of all cases and engagements during triage and service delivery.
  • Own all internal stakeholder management concerning all legal, commercial or other issues concerning Incident Response cases and Red Team engagements.
  • Own all documentation and tracking duties of service deliverables both internally and externally during the service delivery and post-case.
  • Provide organizational and legal guidance to customers, customer SOCs, authorities or any other party involved in the incident for structured and safe remediation, investigation and recovery.
  • Continuously work with the IR and Red team cross-company to improve processes, policies, standards, guidelines and service deliverables in an ever-changing threat landscape.
  • Keep yourself available for customer and internal calls explaining services, scope, roles and responsibilities for all involved parties.
  • Contribute to sales collateral or other material relevant to the communication of all services.

You are

  • Excellent organization and coordination skills in stressful and/or unclear situations across business entities and continents.
  • Excellent at presentation and communication even in unclear situations or with incomplete data at hand.
  • Stress resistant and highly proactive can-do mentality.
  • Passionate about solving complex problems with multiple stakeholders or conflicting interests.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, further languages a bonus.
  • Very detail-orientated in documentation and progress tracking.
  • A team player!
