Als Industrial Engineer (m/w/d) – Schwerpunkt Produktion & Continuous Improvement (CIP) unterstützen Sie die Optimierung unserer Fertigungsprozesse, entwickeln arbeitswirtschaftliche Standards und treiben kontinuierliche Verbesserungen im Produktionsumfeld voran. Sie arbeiten eng mit Produktion, Planung und Controlling zusammen, um Effizienz, Qualität und Kostenstrukturen nachhaltig zu verbessern.

As an Industrial Engineer – Focus on Production & Continuous Improvement (CIP), you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, developing labor standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You collaborate closely with Production, Planning, and Controlling to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost performance across the organization.

Job Description (Responsibilities)

• Analyse und Aufbereitung von Daten zur Erstellung und Aktualisierung von Budget, Direct Labor Standards/Blue-Book sowie Kapazitätsbewertung
• Regelmäßige Pflege und Aktualisierung von Labor Scrolls und Labor Flex Models
• Erstellung von arbeitswirtschaftlichen Bewertungen und Kostenschätzungen für interne Cost Requests
• Durchführung von Kapazitätsanalysen und Auslastungsstudien zur Sicherstellung eines effizienten Fertigungseinsatzes
• Durchführung des monatlichen Plex-Uploads und Sicherstellung korrekter Datengrundlagen
• Schulung von Lean-Tools und Durchführung von CIP-Projeketen zur Förderung einer kontinuierlichen Verbesserungskultur
• Alle sonstigen zugewiesen Aufgaben.

• Prepare and analyze data to develop and update Budgets, Direct Labor Standards/BlueBook and capacity assessment,
• Regularly maintain and update labor scrolls and labor flex models
• Compile labor evaluations and cost estimates for internal cost requests
• Conduct capacity analyses and utilization studies to ensure efficient production planning
• Perform the monthly Plex reload and ensure accurate data inputs
• Train employees in Lean tools and execute CIP initiatives across production areas
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Maschinenbau, Produktionstechnik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Erste Berufserfahrung im Industrial Engineering oder in der Produktionsoptimierung von Vorteil
• Sicherer Umgang mit Arbeitszeit- und Kapazitätsanalysen sowie idealerweise Erfahrung mit Plex oder ähnlichen ERP-Systemen
• Kenntnisse in Lean-Methoden (z. B. 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping)
• Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Analytische Denkweise, hohe Zahlenaffinität und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
• Kommunikationsstärke und die Fähigkeit, funktionsübergreifend Verbesserungen voranzutreiben

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
• Initial experience in Industrial Engineering or production optimization is an advantage
• Solid understanding of labor time studies, capacity analysis, and ideally experience with Plex or similar ERP systems
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping)
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical skills, affinity for data, and a structured working style
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive cross‑functional improvement initiatives
