The following position is available within the office of the Vice President for Research and Transfer: Information Security Officer (m/f/d) Reference No.:Your responsibilities will include, in particular: Performing the duties of the Information Security Officer, specifically Establishing, implementing, and further developing an ISMS in accordance with ISO/IECGovernance and compliance management: developing policies and standards, as well as planning and monitoring audits and measures Risk management and incident management, including the assessment, control, and tracking of security measures and incidents Advising university leadership and providing technical support for security-related projects, as well as emergency and crisis preparedness Leading the IS management team, raising awareness, and reporting on the information security situation Your Qualifications: Completed academic degree (Master’s/university diploma/equivalent) in computer science, business informatics, IT management, information management, or a comparable field—particularly engineering or management systems—with a focus on IT, information security, or management systems You should possess the following knowledge and/or experience: in-depth knowledge of information security and information security management (ISMS) Experience in drafting guidelines, concepts, reports, and decision-making documents; experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) Experience in IT project management Very good German and English language skills You possess the following personal skills: Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills, a high sense of responsibility and assertiveness, and excellent organizational and communication skills What we offer: 30 days of vacation and flexible, family-friendly working hours Option for remote work Job ticket Comprehensive professional development and wellness programs And much more Seize this opportunity—join us in shaping the future!
