Following the ever‑evolving cyber threat landscape, Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) is continuing to invest in our Information Security capabilities. As part of this, we are looking for you to support our Security capability in this complex but exciting environment.

You will be part of our global Information Security team and reporting to the Head of Information Security; you will be responsible for regional and global processes and contribute to the maturing of our Security organization with a focus on Security Risk Management.

This position will be based in our Frankfurt or Munich office.

What You Will Do

• Maintain and manage our 1st Level of Defence Information Security Risk Management Process, including driving improvements and other maturity‑enhancing measures.
• Oversee external providers in adherence to the SLAs agreed and handle escalations when necessary.
• Oversee and quality‑check our risk repository in alignment with all affected stakeholders.
• Createાન periodic reporting on Security Risks to the Head of Information Security and other governance forums.
• Drive additional risk assessments of special scenarios, snapshots thus on demand.
• Conduct training and information sessions on Information Security Risk Management.

What You Bring

• Deep expertise and proven experience in Information Security Management, including frameworks, regulations and security architecture.
• Hands‑on experience in developing solutions, such as actionable guidelines and operating procedures based on best‑practices, business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in identifying security risks and threat modelling based on internationally recognised frameworks, including advisory on possible mitigating and controlling measures and architectures.
• Proven track record in working with diverse and distributed global teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills (communicating and reporting sophisticated technical concepts to business and risk partners).
মই Experience interacting directly with senior partners (C‑Suite, Board and Regulators).
• Specific industry qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
• 3‑7 years of professional experience in information security/cybersecurity.
• Experience balancing multiple concurrent projects and priorities, communicating and committing to realistic deadlines, showcasing a structured way of working.
• Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
• Proficiency in English and German both written and spoken is a must; additional language skills are a plus.
