Information Technology Help Desk Technician

My client, a Global Automotive firm are currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst with experience in troubleshooting windows environments for a 12 month rolling project, focusing on the support of a global infrastructure.

Some remote work may be offered, but the client does require on-site presence also. You would ideally be able to commute or work in Cologne, with remote working options potentially available after a period on-site.

This is a FREELANCE role paying on an hourly rate. Client are looking to pay in the region of €40+ per hour. STARTS ASAP

Required key competencies and qualifications

• Logging, Prioritizing, updating and resolving tickets to meet SLA's
• Provide out of hours support - Purchasing, Installation and support of all computers and printers.
• Installation, support and update of all standard tested software
• Creating, Managing and updating users and Access groups in Microsoft Active Directory environment.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 7 support.
• Knowledge of windows system management software ( e.g. Microsoft SCCM )
• Good Knowledge of handling service requests and incidents via Ticketing system.
• Creating and Managing users, distribution groups and shared mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange and office 365.
• Maintain all assets in the Asset Management system.
• Hardware setup and disassembling.
• Knowledge of Mobile device management system.
• Ideally knowledge of German Language would be a plus
