Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist

We are partnering with a leading international law firm to appoint an experienced Infrastructure Specialist on an initial 3-month rolling contract . This role sits within a high-performing IT function supporting lawyers and business services professionals in a demanding, client-focused environment.

This position requires someone who is comfortable operating in professional services , providing a mix of deskside, endpoint, and workplace technology support with a strong customer-service mindset.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the firm’s end-user computing environment, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-quality technology services across laptops, remote access, collaboration platforms, and meeting room technology.

The successful contractor will be confident working autonomously, prioritising effectively, and delivering white-glove support to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line infrastructure and desktop support across the user base
• Build, configure and deploy laptops and mobile devices
• Support remote access technologies including VPN and Citrix
• Manage devices and policies through Intune / endpoint management tools
• Troubleshoot Windows 11 OS, hardware, and application issues
• Support meeting rooms, conferencing platforms, and AV equipment
• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused support to VIP and executive users
• Liaise with wider infrastructure and security teams when required
• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of processes

Required Experience

• Proven background working within professional services (legal, financial services, consulting, etc.)
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
• Windows 11
• Microsoft Intune / endpoint management
• VPN and remote connectivity
• Laptop imaging, deployment, and lifecycle
• Conference room & AV technology
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders in a corporate environment
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to start quickly and work with minimal supervision
• Exposure to ITIL environments
• Experience within an international or multi-site organisation
• Knowledge of M365 / collaboration tooling
• Day rate: up to €350
• Initial term: 3 months
• Strong likelihood of extension
